Renting a boat is by far one of the most fun experiences in Texas! This week we spent a lot of time researching boat rental companies and lakes to explore. As always , we wrote a review with the objective of providing all of you with honest feedback and hopefully encourage you to get out there on the water. The Experience
One of the most fun trips we've had in Texas so far! Captain Jim took us to the following spots:
Pennybacker Bridge- The most stunning views of the bridge can be observed from the water. Captain Jim made sure to find the perfect spots to make sure we got the coolest pics!
Rope Swings - The captain knows all of the best rope swings along the banks of the lake! Be ready to have a blast.
Venice of Austin Tour- Completely unexpected tour of the canals along the lake where the rich and famous live! Do not miss the house of the creator of Tequila Patron, it is absolutely stunning!
Party Cove -A classic in Austin! Party cove has to be the most fun spot in town after 6th street!

The Captain
Wake Riderz hooked us up with Captain Jim who not only lives on the water and owns a sailboat himself, but also happens to be a super cool dude! This was our first time actually having a captain onboard and were curious to see how strict the captains may be. In this case, captain Jim went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable doing whatever we wanted to do. He made sure we played our own music, took us to super cool spots, and he knew the houses of all of the celebrities on lake Austin which made the trip super fun!
